More about Craft Coaching

Supporting the tech industry in crafting sustainable growth for its people, products and services

Digital tech is the new "craft"

A “craft” is any skill that creates something, and that’s all the tech and digital industry does. Other sectors look to ours for continuous, rapid innovation – but when you’re always working in your business, building things and managing projects, it gives you little time to step back and work on your business.

So, when growth comes, it can often feel rapid, unstable and create a lot of uncertainty amongst the team. Cracks appear, communication breaks down. The aim of Craft Coaching is to set you up for scalable, sustainable growth, helping your team to embrace and adopt change, seeing it as a natural part of being in a fast-paced industry.

Your coach and consultant

I’m Caroline Canty – the founder and director of Craft Coaching and an ILM-accredited business and leadership coach. I’ve worked in the tech and digital field for over 10 years; sales, marketing and branding were my bread and butter, before I became a manager for the first time some years back and discovered how much I loved developing people.

In 2020, I decided to combine all my knowledge about how to sell and market digital services, with my love of coaching and mentoring, and set up on my own. I also qualified as a Leading Energy Profile (LEP) practitioner – a self-awareness tool that reveals your cognitive bias, which is a fancy way of saying your preferred way of thinking.

Although primarily used in leadership and management coaching, I’ve found it to be a game changer when it comes to taking my clients’ business development to the next level, helping them to truly get into the mindset and language of their customer.

With all of these unique skillsets combined, it’s now my personal mission to help you become the market leader you’ve always wanted to be.

An important part of the Craft ethos is partnership. So far, I’ve delivered events and workshops alongside sales gurus, leadership experts, industry bodies and more – and I’m always looking for like-minded professionals and businesses who want to collaborate and bring value to the tech space.
